Mounted Archery, also known horseback archery, is an incredible ancient part of history where cavalries in the Iron Age used bow and arrow for defending their lives as well as hunting technique.  At Kawartha Mounted Archers we are now working to collectively advance this sport which is also considered a martial art. We are here to support anyone interested in learning or competing as well as developing their passion for mounted archery.
